Back from Germany to an empty nest. Bummer, but ironically I got to check in on the nest on my own site! I’ll leave the website up for others to find until, hopefully, Momma comes back next year. Thanks all for your kind comments.

Back in town. But I will be going to Germany until April 3rd. I can only hope baby will still be there when I get back for the final pictures! New pictures are up. Baby has grown wingtips, and is getting its green grownup feathers. The beak has more than doubled in length already. That’s a lot of fibs!

Added Video and a new photo section of the week old babies. The babies have doubled in size!

Installed two new cameras. The Veo’s are less expensive, lower quality, but they let us get much closer to Anna. Problem is, only one person can log in at a time, so everyone take a number! Login and Password are both “user”, by the way.

I woke up, checked the Live Cam and saw somebody’s post saying we have a baby! After waiting for her to leave I took the first shots of baby #1 and some movies. The shots are now up in the photo gallery, and I’ll have to work on the movies later today. Enjoy!

Skip to today. Camera is up, and now, obviously, this website is up, too. I’m hearing some people can see it and some can’t. Those who can’t are advised to go here to find out what to do. It took me about 3 hours to gather everything and put this site together, and I’ll just keep adding to it until I tackle another project.

Took the trash out, as usual. Got buzzed again by this strange insect sounding something-or-other as I stepped out the side door. “That’s the 4th time this week.” This time, however, I saw the flight path it took, and realizing it was a humming bird, put two and two together and went searching for the nest. Took me 10 seconds. It was in the first place I looked, yet I hardly expected to really see it there.
Earlier that day I just happened to have purchased my newest web cam, the Toshiba IK-WB11A, so I spent the next two days getting it to work, and here we are.
